Albert Aretz

Albert Spencer Aretz was born and raised in New Jersey. His father is Ronald Aretz, and he has a sister named Mary Kathryn Aretz. During his youth, he took up skateboarding and developed an interest in fitness and bodybuilding.

He first joined the online gaming platform Roblox in March 2008 under the username Crimson0. Shortly afterward, he created the account Streety, as well as an account named Alberts in July 2008. In 2010, inspired by skateboarding features introduced to the game, he created the channel RobloxSkateMagazine to showcase virtual skateboarding gameplay under his custom project Nation Skateboards. He later relocated to Florida, where he keeps two pet dogs named Bedrock and Peach.

In October 2014, Aretz launched his YouTube channel AlbertsStuff, initially uploading gameplay from titles such as Apocalypse Rising. His channel gained traction through comedic roleplays and trolling videos, eventually accumulating millions of views. However, during YouTube's platform-wide shifts in monetization policies, videos containing mature language were frequently demonetized.

In response to these changes, Aretz created a new, family-friendly channel titled Flamingo on July 5, 2017. He officially moved away from AlbertsStuff in October 2017 to concentrate entirely on Flamingo, where he established a daily upload schedule supported by video editors Adam, Paige, and Znac, alongside thumbnail artist Polarcub. Flamingo quickly grew into one of the most-watched Roblox channels on YouTube, regularly charting on the platform's trending pages.

Throughout his online career, Aretz has regularly collaborated with fellow creators and gaming figures. In 2011, he met fellow creator Jake in a Roblox group called Team Bluesteel, leading to regular joint videos across both his channels and Jake's channel, Jayingee. He has also made frequent collaborative videos with Kaden, founder of Robloxian Myth Hunters, as well as creator Temprist.

Beyond gameplay streams and sketches, Aretz has contributed voice work to animated web series, fan films, and video games. His credits include voice appearances in animated projects such as The Last Guest, The Bacon Hair, Blox Watch, and Letters from Sixteen, frequently voicing characters like Cleetus, Bacon Soldier, or caricatured versions of himself.
