Jules LeBlanc, also known professionally as Annie LeBlanc, is an American actress and singer who first became known through gymnastics videos and the family YouTube channel Bratayley. She later built a career in music, web series and television, including prominent roles in Chicken Girls, A Girl Named Jo and Nickelodeon's Side Hustle.

Early life

Julianna Grace LeBlanc was born on December 5, 2004, in Augusta, Georgia, and grew up in Severna Park, Maryland. She began gymnastics classes at the age of two, while her family started posting videos of her online when she was three. She trained as a gymnast until August 2017.

Her gymnastics meets and tutorials were uploaded to her YouTube channel, originally called Acroanna, beginning in 2008. The LeBlanc family later moved to Los Angeles so Jules and her younger sister, actress Hayley LeBlanc, could pursue acting and music careers.

From gymnastics videos to Bratayley

LeBlanc's early online audience grew through the family vlog channel Bratayley, which began as a project for relatives and followed the daily lives of the LeBlanc family. She appeared on the channel from the age of six alongside Hayley, Caleb, Billy and Katie LeBlanc. The channel's name originated as a nickname for Hayley, combining “brat” with “Hayley.”

Her personal channel changed from Acroanna to Jules LeBlanc in 2017 and subsequently featured music videos and vlogs. She also attracted attention through TikTok content and won the Shorty Award for Muser of the Year in 2018. Bratayley stopped producing family vlogs in November 2019 after nine years.

Acting career

LeBlanc made her major scripted breakthrough with the Brat web series Chicken Girls, in which she played Rhyme McAdams. She and Hayden Summerall were cast as leads despite having no acting experience before the series. The show's debut episode received more than 10 million YouTube views, and LeBlanc continued as a main cast member through its first six seasons before taking guest roles in later seasons.

She reprised Rhyme in Chicken Girls: The Movie, Holiday Spectacular, Spring Breakaway and Intern-in-Chief. She also played Josephine “Jo” Chambers in A Girl Named Jo, co-hosted We Are Savvy, and appeared in projects including Mani, Overnights, Bizaardvark and Sunnyside Up.

In 2020, LeBlanc began playing Lex in the Nickelodeon buddy comedy series Side Hustle alongside Jayden Bartels. The series ran from November 2020 to June 2022, and Nickelodeon also presented LeBlanc and Bartels as hosts of the virtually produced talk show Group Chat during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2025, LeBlanc co-starred with Hayley in the Cineverse film Uncontained.

Music career

LeBlanc's music career developed alongside her online work. Her collaboration with Hayden Summerall on a YouTube cover of Alex & Sierra's “Little Do You Know” went viral, and her cover of Maddie & Tae's “Fly” reached number 34 on Billboard's country chart in 2017. She released her debut original single, “Ordinary Girl,” later that year.

Her other releases included “Little Things,” “Picture This,” “It's Gonna Snow,” “Over Getting Over You,” “Two Sides,” “Play Nice,” “Who You Are” and “Utopia.” In 2018, she contributed songs to the pop-country compilation album Lollipop, released through Heard Well, and embarked on The Left Me Hangin' Tour.

Awards and nominations

LeBlanc received a Streamy Awards nomination in the Kids and Family category in 2017. The following year, she won the Shorty Award for Muser of the Year and received a Streamy Awards nomination for Acting in a Drama.

She won the Teen Choice Award for Choice Music Web Star in 2019 and the Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Female Social Web Star in 2020. In 2021, she was the face of PacSun's Fall collection campaign.
