Justin Combs

Combs played football at Iona Preparatory School, where he was used as a cornerback and quarterback. During his senior season, he completed 46 of 74 passes for 614 yards and four touchdowns, rushed for 196 yards and four touchdowns, recorded 45 tackles, and made one interception. His honors included all-league, all-city, all-state, and All-American recognition.

He received a football scholarship to UCLA in 2012 and joined the program as a cornerback. He did not appear in a game during his first year, then played in three games as a sophomore and recorded one tackle in a win over USC during his junior season. Jim Mora was his head coach at UCLA.

His scholarship attracted public controversy because of his family connection to Sean Combs. UCLA defended the decision to award him the scholarship, while Combs continued to be evaluated as a college football recruit, including as a two-star prospect by Scout.com and a highly ranked player in New York.

Combs made an early television appearance on MTV's My Super Sweet 16 in 2008 and had his first listed film role in Date with a Hammer. He later appeared as himself on programs including Catfish: The TV Show, Wild 'N Out, Hip Hop Squares, and the music video for Usher and Ella Mai's "Don't Waste My Time."

His screen work includes an appearance in Power Book II: Ghost, where he was credited as King in three episodes released in 2023 and 2024. He also hosted and executive produced the 2021 talk show Respectfully Justin.

Combs expanded his behind-the-scenes work as an executive producer on The Crew League, contributing to four episodes in 2022. He is also credited as a producer on an untitled docuseries involving Justin Combs and Christian Combs that was listed in pre-production.

Combs is the son of rapper and entrepreneur Sean Combs and fashion designer Misa Hylton. He attended Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle, New York, before studying at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated with a degree in sociology in 2016.

His named siblings and step-relations include Christian Combs, Niko Brim, King Combs, Quincy Brown, Madison Star Brim, Jessie Combs, D'Lila Combs, Chance Combs, and Love Sean. His athletic profile identifies scoring a game-winning touchdown in high school as one of his biggest sporting achievements, and lists NFL quarterback Michael Vick as an athlete he admired.

In 2023, Combs was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence. He later accepted a plea deal that allowed him to avoid jail time.

In 2015, Sean Combs was arrested and charged with felony assault after an incident involving UCLA assistant football coach Sal Alosi during a practice connected to Justin Combs.
