At 26, he contacted Louisiana's Metal Building Apprenticeship programme. That experience preceded the founding of RedIron Construction in 2011. The company focuses on commercial and residential construction projects and is headquartered in Denham Springs, with additional offices in Baton Rouge and Miami.

Waller also expanded into real estate and online business ventures. His real estate company operates in more than ten states, and he became the youngest member of the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association board.
