Malaika Arora

Malaika Arora was married to actor, director, and producer Arbaaz Khan from 1998 until their divorce in 2017. They met during a coffee advertisement shoot and have a son, Arhaan Khan, who was born in 2002. After the divorce, Arora maintained primary custody of Arhaan, while Khan received visitation rights under their settlement.

Arora entered a relationship with actor Arjun Kapoor in 2016, and their relationship ended in 2024. She began a relationship with actor Dino Morea in early 2025. Her sister is actress Amrita Arora.

Arora began her career as a video jockey when MTV India launched its operations in India. She hosted and interviewed guests on programs including Club MTV, Love Line, and Style Check, and later moved into modelling, advertisements, and music videos.

Her appearance in the song "Chaiyya Chaiyya" from Dil Se... in 1998, alongside Shah Rukh Khan, established her as a prominent Bollywood dance performer. She later appeared in songs including "Gur Naalo Ishq Mitha," "Maahi Ve," "Kaal Dhamaal," and "Munni Badnaam Hui." The latter featured in Dabangg, which was produced by Arbaaz Khan.

Her film appearances include supporting and special roles in Kaante, EMI, Housefull, Happy New Year, Dolly Ki Doli, Pataakha, and An Action Hero. She also made a cameo as herself in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.

Arora became a judge on Nach Baliye and Nach Baliye 2, later appearing as a judge on Zara Nachke Dikha and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She has also judged India's Got Talent, MTV Supermodel of the Year, and India's Best Dancer. In 2022, she appeared in the reality series Moving in With Malaika.

In 2008, Arora and Arbaaz Khan founded Arbaaz Khan Productions. The company produced the Dabangg film series and Dolly Ki Doli. As a producer of Dabangg, Arora received the Filmfare Award for Best Film and shared the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

Arora has frequently been identified with fitness and is described as a fitness icon in Indian entertainment coverage. She became vegan in 2020.

In March 2011, she led a choreographed performance of "Munni Badnaam Hui" involving 1,235 participants, helping establish a world record. In April 2022, she was injured in a three-car collision on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and received stitches at a hospital in Navi Mumbai.
