Amy Slaton

Amy Slaton was married to Michael Halterman from 2019 until their divorce in 2023. They have two sons, Gage Deon Halterman, born in November 2020, and Glenn Allen Halterman, born in July 2022.

She married Brian Scott Lovvorn on October 31, 2025. Lovvorn proposed at Henderson Haunts, a haunted house in Henderson, Kentucky, and gave her a silver ring decorated with two skeleton hands forming a heart.

Amy rose to wider attention on 1000-lb Sisters, the TLC reality series that follows her weight-loss journey and that of her sister Tammy Slaton. The program also features the wider Slaton family, including Amy's siblings Chris Combs and Amanda Halterman.

Amy was the first of the sisters to undergo bariatric surgery. She pursued weight loss partly because she and Michael wanted children, and her doctor advised her to wait two years after the procedure before trying to become pregnant. She later had two sons.

Before appearing on television, Amy built an audience on YouTube under the name TwilightQueen. Her videos have included makeup tutorials, challenges, routine videos, food content and vlogs featuring her family.

Her channel was initially created as a collaborative account with Tammy called Slaton Sisters. The video "The Power of Makeup" received more than six million views in one year, while "Bake with Me" surpassed one million views. Her YouTube audience helped establish the visibility that preceded 1000-lb Sisters.

Amy is Tammy Slaton's full-blooded younger sister, and the two have appeared together in videos and throughout 1000-lb Sisters. Their mother is Darlene Rednour, while Jesse Odom has served as a father figure to the siblings for more than 35 years.

Amy's family connections also include her half-brother Chris Combs and half-sister Amanda Halterman. Her half-brother Steven Slaton lives in Texas, and she and Tammy have another half-brother on their father's side who was adopted out of the family.
