Bernice Burgos

Bernice Burgos began her working life as a bartender in the Bronx, where she spent three years in New York’s nightlife scene. She discovered modeling opportunities through that environment and later moved into entertainment-related work and music-video appearances.

She left high school after becoming pregnant with her first child and later completed her education. Her early experience in bartending and modeling provided the foundation for her transition into social media, where she developed a consistent fashion and lifestyle-focused personal brand.

Burgos became known as a fashion model and for appearing in music videos by artists including J. Cole and Rick Ross. She was also featured on MTV’s Wild ’N Out and in magazines such as Show and XXL.

Instagram became the main platform for her public profile. She used the account to share modeling, fashion, food, and fitness content while promoting brands including Fashion Nova and Icon Swim. Her work as a Fashion Nova brand ambassador further connected her modeling career with commercial partnerships.

Burgos built her online audience through visual consistency rather than relying on one viral launch. Her Instagram presence centered on a recognizable aesthetic involving fashion, lifestyle, and confidence, helping her maintain a stable public identity as social-media platforms changed.

Television appearances and music-video exposure broadened her reach beyond Instagram. She also used her online visibility to support business projects, gradually shifting her public identity from model and social-media personality toward entrepreneur and brand owner.

Burgos launched Bold & Beautiful, a sleepwear and apparel brand. The business represented a move from promoting other companies’ products to owning a consumer brand built around her fashion-oriented audience.

She co-owns the clothing business with her daughter Ashley Marie Burgos, who is also a model and businesswoman. The brand includes women’s and children’s clothing, linking Burgos’s modeling background with her interest in entrepreneurship.

Burgos has two daughters, Ashley Marie Burgos and Sarai Burgos. She was 15 when she gave birth to Ashley and 26 when Sarai was born.

Ashley followed her mother into modeling and business. Ashley became the mother of India Ava Burgos in 2018, making Bernice Burgos a grandmother.

Burgos has discussed undergoing cosmetic procedures after the birth of her second daughter. She has said that she had butt enhancement and later received bust implants in connection with her modeling career.

Her tattoos include crosses on her upper back, right ankle, and lower stomach, as well as designs featuring a rose, a fish, and the words “INDIA,” “love,” “Beautiful,” and “Queen.” The “INDIA” tattoo honors her granddaughter.
