Brooke Williamson

Brooke Williamson was previously married to her business partner, Nick Roberts, whom she met while working at Zax. They have a son named Hudson, and Williamson lives in the Westchester neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Williamson has been in a relationship with chef Bobby Flay since March 2025.

Williamson began her culinary career at 17 as a teacher's assistant at the Epicurean Institute of Los Angeles. She later worked as a pastry assistant under Michelin-starred chef Ken Frank at the Fenix kitchen in the Argyle Hotel, became the youngest sous chef at Michael's of Santa Monica, and continued her training at Daniel in New York City.

After returning to Los Angeles, she became executive chef at Boxer and then opened and ran the kitchen at Zax in Brentwood. She cooked at the James Beard Foundation House in 2001 and was described as the youngest female chef to do so. Her cooking draws on Southern California ingredients, seasonal produce, bold flavors, and coastal California influences.

Williamson and Nick Roberts opened Amuse Café in 2003, followed by Hudson House in Redondo Beach and the Tripel in Playa del Rey in 2010. They later opened Playa Provisions in 2014 and developed additional ventures including Da Kikokiko and the culinary retail shop Tripli-Kit. Their hospitality group is called Company for Dinner.

Playa Provisions is a four-in-one dining destination in Playa del Rey. Its concepts are King Beach, a café; Dockside, a seafood-focused restaurant; Small Batch, an ice cream and dessert bar; and Grain, a whiskey bar. The venue reflects Williamson's emphasis on fresh ingredients and coastal California flavors.

Williamson competed on Top Chef and finished second to Kristen Kish in season 10 after returning through Last Chance Kitchen. She later returned for season 14, again coming back through Last Chance Kitchen, and won the finale against Shirley Chung.

In 2020, Williamson won the inaugural season of Tournament of Champions. She defeated 15 chefs in the competition and faced Amanda Freitag in the final. Her other television appearances include Top Chef Duels, Knife Fight, and Guy's Grocery Games.

Williamson has served as a judge on BBQ Brawl, Guy's Grocery Games, 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing, and Chopped. She was also a host and mentor on MTV's House of Food and served as the West Coast captain and mentor on Beachside Brawl alongside Antonia Lofaso and Tiffani Faison.

She has been a Titan on Bobby's Triple Threat since the show's launch, appearing alongside Bobby Flay and fellow culinary Titans including Michael Voltaggio and Ayesha Nurdjaja. As a Titan, she competes against visiting chefs in head-to-head cooking challenges.

Williamson published her first cookbook, Sun-Kissed Cooking: Vegetables Front and Center, in November 2024. The book contains more than 100 recipes that make fresh seasonal produce the focus of dishes, while also including meat, seafood, and other ingredients rather than following a strictly vegan or vegetarian approach.

Her philanthropic work has included participation in No Kid Hungry and World Central Kitchen. She joined the Leadership Council for No Kid Hungry in 2020 and also supports the Jacques Pépin Foundation, which provides culinary education and programming.
