Heather Gay

Heather Gay married Frank William "Billy" Gay III in 2000. The couple separated after 11 years of marriage, and their divorce was finalized in 2014.

She has three daughters, Ashley, Annabelle, and Georgia.

Gay became a main cast member of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City when the series premiered in 2020. Her storyline has included her departure from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, her business, and her relationships with other cast members.

She has also appeared on the third season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alongside her cousin Whitney Rose. Her other television appearances include Below Deck Adventure, The Wendy Williams Show, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and Sherri.

In 2025, Gay appeared in and served as an executive producer of the limited series Surviving Mormonism with Heather Gay.

In 2017, Gay and Andrea Robinson founded Beauty Lab + Laser, a medical spa services company in Murray, Utah. The business opened a second location in Riverton in 2022.

Gay published Bad Mormon: A Memoir in February 2023. The book reached The New York Times Best Seller list and explores her upbringing in the Mormon church and her decision to leave it in 2019. She released her second book, Good Time Girl, in 2024.

Gay announced Eternal Glow, her first horror fiction novel, with a scheduled publication date of October 6, 2026.
