Jamie Campbell Bower is an English actor and singer known for playing Henry Creel, One and Vecna in Netflix's Stranger Things. He is also recognised for portraying Caius in The Twilight Saga, young Gellert Grindelwald in the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, and Anthony Hope in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Personal life

Bower was engaged to actress Bonnie Wright after they met while filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. They ended the engagement in 2012. He was in an on-and-off relationship with Lily Collins from 2012 to 2018, and began dating social media personality Elena Taber in 2025.

His mother, Anne Elizabeth Roseberry, worked as a music manager, while his father, David Bower, worked for the Gibson Guitar Corporation. His younger brother, Samuel Bower, later played with him in Counterfeit. Bower has mild dyslexia and has spoken about past struggles with alcoholism, addiction and mental health. Bower began his professional acting career after his friend Laura Michelle Kelly recommended him to her agent. Music has been a major part of Bower's career alongside acting. He played drums in William K and later became the lead singer of The Darling Buds, a band that dissolved in 2015 without releasing an album. He then became the lead singer and guitarist of the punk rock band Counterfeit.

Counterfeit released its first album in 2017 and toured the United States that year. The band split in 2020, after recording a second album that was never released. Bower began releasing solo music after the split and formed the band BloodMagic in 2024, featuring drummer Kyle Adams. His musical influences include Placebo, Deftones, Blur, Oasis, Marilyn Manson and The Cure.
