Jordan Hudson is an American football wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He played college football for the TCU Horned Frogs and SMU Mustangs before joining Dallas as an undrafted free agent.

Early life

Hudson attended Garland High School in Garland, Texas. During his junior season, he caught 80 passes for 1,285 yards and 19 touchdowns.

He was rated a five-star recruit and the 12th overall prospect in ESPN's class of 2022. Hudson initially committed to the Oklahoma Sooners, later reopened his recruitment, announced a commitment to SMU, and ultimately signed with TCU.

College career

Hudson caught 14 passes for 174 yards and three touchdowns as a freshman at TCU in 2022. After the season, he entered the NCAA transfer portal and transferred to SMU.

With the SMU Mustangs, Hudson played in all 14 games in 2023 and recorded 30 receptions for 425 yards and seven touchdowns. In 2024, he caught 39 passes for 422 yards and five touchdowns.

Hudson finished his final collegiate season in 2025 with a career-high 766 receiving yards and earned third-team All-ACC honors. After the season, he accepted an invitation to participate in the 2026 Senior Bowl.

Professional career

Hudson was not selected in the 2026 NFL draft. He subsequently signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent.

At his pre-draft workouts, Hudson measured 6 feet 1 1/4 inches and 191 pounds. He recorded a 4.59-second 40-yard dash, a 32-inch vertical jump, and a 10-foot 2-inch broad jump.
