Meredith Marks

Meredith Marks has been married to Seth Marks since 1996. They have three children, Reid, Brooks and Chloe. The family moved from Chicago to Utah in 2013 after Seth accepted a job at Overstock.com in Salt Lake City.

Their marital difficulties became part of the first season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Seth filed for divorce in August 2019, then withdrew the petition four months later. Marks has also spoken about her Jewish faith and held her bat mitzvah ceremony in 2024. Their son Brooks Marks later joined the cast of Bravo's Next Gen NYC.

After graduate school, Marks opened a Pilates studio that grew into a full health club. She sold the club and studied jewelry at the Gemological Institute of America before founding Meredith Marks Jewelry in 2009. She later opened a boutique in Park City, Utah.

Marks traces her interest in jewelry to her great-grandmother's collection and to watching her mother wear Marina B earrings with interchangeable stones. Those influences informed her use of versatile designs, including pieces that can function as either earrings or pendants. Her collections include the Sistine Collection, inspired by a pattern at the Sistine Chapel, and the Spike Collection, inspired by foliage on a Park City hiking trail.

Her jewelry has been worn by Rihanna, Charlize Theron, Tina Fey, Gwyneth Paltrow and Courteney Cox. The brand's honors include a 2016 JCK Editors' Choice Award, a 2017 JCK Best of the Best JCK Jewelers' Choice Award and a 2018 Salute to Style honor from the Madison Boys and Girls Club.

Marks joined The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City as one of its six original main cast members in 2020 and has appeared in every season. She was initially contacted by a friend involved in producing a Utah reality show and thought she was being asked only to offer ideas for the series. Before joining the franchise, she had never watched an episode of The Real Housewives.

Her television appearances also include guest spots on The Real Housewives of New York City, The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Friends of WeHo, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and Next Gen NYC. She appeared with her husband on the podcast Hanging by a Thread, which they launched in 2023.

Marks launched Meredith Marks Caviar in 2023 and later introduced a party game titled Rumors and Nastiness and a line of bath bombs. She made her DJ debut at All Out Music Festival in 2025 and subsequently embarked on a 10-city DJ tour.

She has supported the Cleveland Clinic's work against Alzheimer's disease and LGBTQIA+ causes through GLAAD. GLAAD named her an ambassador in 2025, and she has also served on the host committee for multiple GLAAD events.
