Monique Pendleberry

Pendleberry previously worked at SunLife Organics Juicery in Malibu. She later founded Friday Flowers Co., a boutique floral design business based in Malibu that creates arrangements and event designs for private clients.

Before entering entrepreneurship, she played on a University of California women's soccer team. A biography of her identifies her as a UCLA graduate who completed her studies in 2015.

Pendleberry met David Duchovny while working at SunLife Organics. The business was owned by Duchovny's friend Khalil Rafati, and Pendleberry and Duchovny began dating in 2017 after keeping their relationship largely private.

The couple made one of their first prominent public appearances together at the January 2023 Los Angeles premiere of You People, where they walked the red carpet holding hands. They also attended the Tribeca Film Festival six months later and posed together for photographs.

Duchovny confirmed that he and Pendleberry married in February 2025 in a private ceremony. A biography identifies the ceremony as having taken place at a courthouse in Santa Monica, California.
