Nikki Glaser

Glaser has been in a relationship with producer Chris Convy since 2022. She lives in St. Louis near her parents and has a younger sister named Lauren.

She stopped drinking on December 9, 2011, and also quit smoking, crediting books by Allen Carr with helping her make those changes. She has discussed earlier struggles with anorexia and bulimia, including receiving help through a recovery program.

Glaser is a longtime animal-rights activist and has been vegan since 2016. She attended 22 concerts on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour.

Glaser began performing stand-up at 18 and wrote her first jokes while attending college. She performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan, and two seasons of Last Comic Standing. Her first feature stand-up special, Perfect, aired on Comedy Central in 2016, followed by the Netflix special Bangin' in 2019.

Her comedy is associated with observational, blue, cringe, insult, and shock humor, often focusing on sex, interpersonal relationships, self-deprecation, and everyday life. She appeared in televised roasts of Rob Lowe, Bruce Willis, Alec Baldwin, and Tom Brady.

Glaser's set on Netflix's The Roast of Tom Brady in 2024 brought her widespread attention. Her HBO special Someday You'll Die earned nominations at the Critics' Choice Television Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Grammy Awards, and Primetime Emmy Awards, and won the 2025 Writers Guild of America Award for Best Comedy or Variety Special.

Glaser made her film debut with a small role in Punching the Clown in 2009 and appeared as herself in the documentaries I Am Comic and I Am Road Comic. She later played Lisa in Amy Schumer's Trainwreck and appeared in I Feel Pretty, Punching Henry, and several television comedies, including Inside Amy Schumer and A.P. Bio.

In 2013, she co-hosted MTV's Nikki & Sara Live with Sara Schaefer. She created, wrote, and hosted the Comedy Central talk show Not Safe with Nikki Glaser, which premiered in 2016. She also appeared on Dancing with the Stars, where she and professional partner Gleb Savchenko were the first couple eliminated.

Glaser hosted Bravo's revival of Blind Date and became the host and an executive producer of FBoy Island. She also hosted its spinoff, Lovers and Liars, and starred in the E! reality series Welcome Home Nikki Glaser?. On The Masked Singer, she competed as Snowstorm and finished in third place.

Glaser hosted the 82nd Golden Globe Awards in 2025 and the 83rd ceremony in 2026. Her 2025 hosting role made her the first woman to host the Golden Globes alone.

From 2011 to 2014, Glaser co-hosted the podcast You Had To Be There with comedian Sara Schaefer. She later co-hosted We Know Nothing with comedian Phil Hanley and musician Anya Marina, a relationship-focused program built around listener calls and advice.

Glaser hosted You Up? With Nikki Glaser on SiriusXM's Comedy Central Radio from 2018 to 2020. She also presented several other programs for SiriusXM and appeared on the Howard Stern channels and The Joe Rogan Experience.

The Nikki Glaser Podcast premiered in 2021, initially featuring comedian Andrew Collin as co-host before Brian Frange replaced him. Its final episode was released in March 2025.
