Raven-Symoné

Raven-Symoné was in a relationship with model and actress AzMarie Livingston from 2012 to 2015. She has been married to Miranda Maday since 2020, and the couple began the podcast Tea Time with Raven and Miranda in 2024.

She briefly retired from acting in 2013 and enrolled at the Academy of Art University, where she completed an associate degree in fine arts in 2016. She returned to television in 2015 as a co-host of The View.

Raven-Symoné began working as an infant model and, at age two, signed with Ford Models. She appeared in advertisements for Ritz crackers, Jell-O, Fisher-Price, and Cool Whip. At age three, she auditioned for Ghost Dad, but was considered too young for the role. Bill Cosby subsequently helped her obtain the role of Olivia Kendall on The Cosby Show, where she appeared from 1989 to 1992.

She joined Hangin' with Mr. Cooper as Nicole Lee in 1993 and remained with the sitcom through 1997. Her early film roles included Stymie's girlfriend in The Little Rascals, Charisse Dolittle in Dr. Dolittle and Dr. Dolittle 2, and Nebula in Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century.

Raven-Symoné became widely known as Raven Baxter in the Disney Channel series That's So Raven, which ran from 2003 to 2007. The series reached 100 episodes and became a major Disney Channel franchise with soundtracks, dolls, DVDs, and video games. She also voiced Monique in Kim Possible and appeared as Princess Asana in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement.

In 2003, she played Galleria Garibaldi in The Cheetah Girls, a Disney Channel Original Movie produced by Whitney Houston. She reprised the role in The Cheetah Girls 2 in 2006 and served as an executive producer on the sequel. The first film's soundtrack was certified double platinum, while the sequel's soundtrack was certified platinum.

Her later film credits include Melanie Porter in College Road Trip, Mary in A Girl Like Grace, and Taylor Lazlo in Mighty Oak. She also voiced Iridessa in the Disney Fairies and Tinker Bell film series from 2008 to 2015. In 2012, she made her Broadway debut as Deloris van Cartier in Sister Act.

Raven-Symoné starred as Georgia Chamberlain in the sitcom State of Georgia in 2011 and played Rhonda Johnson in Black-ish from 2015 to 2020. She joined The View as a co-host in 2015 and left the program in 2016. Her subsequent television work included hosting What Not to Design, appearing as a contestant on The Masked Singer as Black Widow, and hosting Scrabble.

In 2017, Raven-Symoné reprised her role as Raven Baxter in Raven's Home, a spin-off of That's So Raven. The series ran for six seasons and ended in 2023. She also served as an executive producer and directed 16 episodes.

Her production work has included That's So Raven, The Cheetah Girls 2, College Road Trip, The View, and What Not to Design. She signed an overall deal with Disney Branded Television in 2024, and a pilot for the proposed Raven's Home spin-off Alice in the Palace was filmed.

Raven-Symoné released her debut studio album, Here's to New Dreams, at age seven in 1993. The album included the single "That's What Little Girls Are Made Of," which reached No. 68 on the Billboard Hot 100. Her later studio albums were Undeniable in 1999, This Is My Time in 2004, and Raven-Symoné in 2008.

She contributed vocals to Disney soundtracks including The Cheetah Girls, That's So Raven, That's So Raven Too!, and The Cheetah Girls 2. She released the EP 33000 in 2019 and later issued music under the name Raven, including the single "Spacetruck."
