Sofie Dossi

Sofie Clarice Dossi grew up in Cypress, California. She began taking gymnastics and dance lessons as a child and also studied classical piano. Her mother, Abir, homeschooled her through the Springs Charter Schools program, while her father, Mike, designed performance props and helped with road work.

At age 12, Dossi became interested in contortion after watching a Cirque du Soleil video. She taught herself by studying performers online, reproducing poses, and creating new ones. She initially performed for friends and family before being hired for larger events. Her older brother, Zak Dossi, produces and appears in her YouTube videos.

Dossi appeared on the 11th season of America's Got Talent in 2016 at age 14. Her first routine combined a handstand with shooting a bow and arrow using her feet. She later performed on an aerial hoop and fired a flaming arrow with her feet, prompting guest judge Reba McEntire to award her a Golden Buzzer during the Judge Cuts.

Dossi reached the season finale but did not finish among the top five. She returned for the first season of America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2019, where her aerial act placed third. She also appeared as a guest performer on later seasons, including performances with Bianca Ryan, Brian King Joseph, Reba McEntire, Sara James, and Aidan Bryant.

In 2024, Dossi competed on America's Got Talent: Fantasy League. Mentor Heidi Klum awarded her a Golden Buzzer, sending her directly to the finals. Dossi performed a balancing act on a rotating wheel and reached the final stage without making the top five.

Dossi uploaded her first YouTube video in late 2016 and built the channel around contortion, stunts, challenges, pranks, and collaborations. Her videos also feature friends and family, with Zak Dossi contributing as a producer and on-screen participant.

Her online success followed her television breakthrough, and she has been nominated for Streamy Awards. She has also collaborated with creators including MrBeast, Miranda Sings, Zach King, Lilly Singh, Logan Paul, and Sean Johnson. Her social media work frequently incorporates dance, hand balancing, and demonstrations of her flexibility.

Dossi began appearing in scripted and unscripted screen projects after her America's Got Talent debut. She played a contortionist in an episode of Disney Channel's K.C. Undercover and appeared on Bizaardvark.

Her largest early television role was Dani in the Brat TV series Boss Cheer, which ran from 2018 to 2019. She also appeared in projects including Holiday Spectacular, Zombies 2: The Collab, VS Couple Ships, and other creator-led television and video productions.

Dossi entered pop music with the release of her debut single, "Bunny," in August 2022. She co-wrote the song with her brother, Zak Dossi, who directed its music video.

Her later music has included songs such as "Fire Alarm," "Never Growing Up Again," "Simp Boy," and "Break My Heart." Her work as a singer and songwriter complements her careers in performance, acting, and online entertainment.
