Trisha Paytas

Trisha Paytas married Israeli artist Moses Hacmon in December 2021 after they became engaged in 2020. They have three children: daughters Malibu Barbie Paytas-Hacmon and Elvis Paytas-Hacmon, and son Aquaman Paytas-Hacmon.

Paytas had previously been told by doctors that they would not be able to conceive naturally. Their first child, Malibu Barbie, was born in 2022, followed by Elvis in 2024 and Aquaman in 2025.

Paytas registered their YouTube channel in 2007. The channel was initially dedicated to filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, an influence who helped inspire their move to Los Angeles to pursue acting, before shifting toward fashion, beauty, relationship advice, lifestyle vlogs, music videos, and mukbang content. They began posting widely viewed mukbang and eating-challenge videos in 2014 and have collaborated on YouTube with Shane Dawson.

Their early screen appearances included The Greg Behrendt Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Who Wants to Be a Superhero?, Modern Family, My Strange Addiction, Celebrity Name Game, and Celebrity Big Brother UK. They also appeared in music videos for Amy Winehouse, Eminem, and The All-American Rejects, including Amy Winehouse's "Tears Dry on Their Own" as a streetwalker.

Paytas has independently released albums, singles, and extended plays. Their 2016 EP Daddy Issues reached number 25 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers Albums chart. Their other releases include Fat Chicks, Superficial Bitch, Warrior, Chicken Fingers and Lipo, Chicken Parm and Heartbreak, Songs From My Kitchen Floor, Rebirth, and Postpartum Popstar.

In 2019, they headlined The Heartbreak Tour. They later appeared in the live shows Trisha Paytas: Trishmas Live and Trisha Paytas' Big Broadway Dream, the latter a one-night benefit production featuring Sutton Foster, Ben Platt, Joy Woods, and Rachel Zegler. They also toured North America with The Eras of Trish Tour, a multimedia show combining singing, costume changes, comedy, personal anecdotes, and footage from their internet career.

From 2020 to 2021, Paytas co-hosted Frenemies with Ethan Klein. The podcast focused on pop culture, social media, and the hosts' conflicting opinions, and became one of the most watched podcast projects on YouTube during its run. Paytas left after a dispute with Klein over production and creative ownership, ending the show after 41 episodes.

In 2023, Paytas launched Just Trish, a podcast about current pop culture topics that has been co-hosted by Oscar Gracey. They also briefly co-hosted Oversharing with Colleen & Trish with Colleen Ballinger before the program was canceled after three episodes.

Paytas's film credits include Yes Man, Faster, To.get.her, Sex, Drugs and Randy Van Stone, Wanderlust, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, and Water & Power. Their television and short-form credits include Blood Queens, David's Vlog, The Reality House, and Hacks.

They appeared as themself in a 2024 episode of Saturday Night Live in a sketch parodying Spotify Wrapped. Paytas was also cast as Maxine Dean in the second Broadway revival of Beetlejuice and as Video Podcast Host #3 in the third season of Euphoria.

Paytas identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns. They discussed their gender identity in a 2021 interview and reaffirmed their non-binary identity in a video released that year.

Paytas has been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. They have also spoken publicly about past substance-abuse problems and hospitalization after a methamphetamine overdose.
