
Alex Gonzaga
Alex Gonzaga is a Filipina actress, television host, and recording artist from Taytay, Rizal. She first gained attention on the youth sitcom Let's Go!, which also gave her her stage name, before leading the popular primetime drama Pure Love and the fantasy adaptation Inday Bote. As a television presenter, she co-hosted major franchises including The Voice of the Philippines, The Voice Kids, and the variety show Lunch Out Loud. She has also starred in popular films such as The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin and Mary, Marry Me. Gonzaga holds a degree in Child Development and Education from the University of Asia and the Pacific. She is married to politician Mikee Morada.

Personal life
Gonzaga grew up in Taytay, Rizal, the daughter of Crisanta Cruz and former vice mayor Carlito Gonzaga. Her older sister is actress and television host Toni Gonzaga. Gonzaga completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and Education at the University of Asia and the Pacific.
Actor Piolo Pascual introduced Gonzaga to politician Mikee Morada in 2016. The couple began dating in November of that year and announced their engagement in January 2020. They married in November 2020 in a ceremony at the Gonzaga family residence in Taytay. Gonzaga and Morada welcomed their first child in August 2026.
Early television and drama roles
Gonzaga made her television debut in 2006 on the ABS-CBN youth sitcom Let's Go!, where her character name inspired her screen name. She remained through its sequel series Gokada Go! before taking supporting parts in Pangarap na Bituin and My Girl.
In 2008, she moved to TV5. She took on roles in the soap opera Babaeng Hampaslupa and the drama series BFGF, P.S. I Love You, and Enchanted Garden. Gonzaga returned to ABS-CBN in April 2013. The following year, she starred as Diane Santos in Pure Love, a Philippine adaptation of the South Korean drama 49 Days. In 2015, she starred in the fantasy series Inday Bote.
Hosting and reality television
Gonzaga built a hosting career alongside her acting roles. On TV5, she co-hosted the daily entertainment news show Juicy!. Following her return to ABS-CBN, she joined the hosting lineups for The Voice of the Philippines and The Voice Kids alongside Luis Manzano and Robi Domingo.
In 2014, she entered the Pinoy Big Brother house as a celebrity houseguest on Pinoy Big Brother: All In, remaining inside the competition for two months. She later joined the variety comedy program Banana Split and served as a regular panelist on the mystery music game show I Can See Your Voice. Following the shutdown of ABS-CBN's broadcast franchise in 2020, she joined Brightlight Productions to host the daytime variety show Lunch Out Loud on TV5 through 2023.
Film, writing, and music
Gonzaga appeared in Star Cinema's comedy The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin in 2014, an entry in the 40th Metro Manila Film Festival. She later starred opposite her sister Toni in the 2018 comedy Mary, Marry Me and the 2021 horror comedy The Exorsis. Her other films include the romantic comedy My Rebound Girl, the Netflix comedy The Entitled, and the 2023 release Single Bells.
In 2014, she published her debut book, Dear Alex, Break na Kami. Paano? Love Catherine, which addressed breakups through comedy. She released her debut extended play, I Am Alex G., through Star Music in 2015, supporting it with a solo concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum titled AG from the East: The Unexpected Concert. Her novelty single "Chambe" reached the Philippine charts in 2018.
