Alix Earle

Earle grew up in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Her parents are Thomas “TJ” Earle, the owner of a New Jersey construction company, and Alisa Maniaci, who is of Italian descent. Her parents divorced in 2013, and her father later married Ashley Dupré. Earle has a younger sister, Ashtin Earle, and three younger half-siblings from her father’s second marriage.

Earle has spoken publicly about anxiety, her use of the SSRI Lexapro, and her experiences with an eating disorder and body dysmorphia during high school. She dated professional baseball player Tyler Wade for three months in late 2022 and later dated football player Braxton Berrios. Their relationship began in 2023 and ended in December 2025.

Earle began posting on TikTok in February 2020 while she was a freshman at the University of Miami. Her first video showed her and friends wearing outfits made from trash bags. Her early content combined makeup and fashion with stories about college life, including classes, tailgates, parties and her experiences with roommates.

Her following grew rapidly in late 2022, when she had fewer than 300,000 TikTok followers before the fall and surpassed 2 million by the end of the year. Her “Get Ready With Me” videos became her signature format, showing her makeup routine and outfit choices while she discussed relationships, social experiences and personal decisions. Her candid style helped establish the “Alix Earle effect,” referring to the surge in demand for products she features.

Earle also drew attention for documenting her experience with cystic acne. During a four-month Accutane journey, she posted unfiltered photographs and monthly updates about the treatment and its emotional impact. She created the Alix Earle Scholarship for students at the University of Miami’s Patti and Allan Herbert Business School after graduating with a degree in marketing in 2023.

In 2023, Earle signed with Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network. She launched her podcast, Hot Mess with Alix Earle, in September of that year, using the program to discuss personal experiences, beauty, lifestyle and mental health.

Earle was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2023 and appeared in the music video for The Kid Laroi’s “Girls” in 2024. She also appeared in Happy Gilmore 2 and the television miniseries Too Much in 2025. Her other projects include an investment and brand partnership with SipMargs, an investment in the energy drink brand Gorgie, and the skincare brand Reale Actives.

She created “Meals in Heels,” a Miami event series that brings participants together to prepare and package meals for people in need. One holiday edition prepared more than 2,000 meals for local shelters in collaboration with Miami-area kitchens and culinary partners.

Earle competed on season 34 of Dancing with the Stars with professional partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy. She performed a range of routines, including the cha-cha-cha, jive, quickstep, Viennese waltz, contemporary, tango, paso doble, Argentine tango, samba and freestyle.

Earle reached the finale and placed second behind Robert Irwin. Her highest listed score was 30, achieved for multiple dances including the tango, paso doble, foxtrot, Viennese waltz, samba, instant cha-cha-cha and freestyle.
