
Brittany Inge is an American actress from Laurel, Maryland, whose work spans television, film, and theater. She is known for roles in Boomerang, The Ms. Pat Show, Elsbeth, and her 2024 Broadway debut in Home.
Education and theater
Inge attended the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, D.C., and graduated cum laude from Spelman College with a degree in music. After college, she trained as an actor and began working professionally.
She performed at several of Atlanta's leading theater companies and has described her theater work as her "grad school experience." In 2018, she originated the role of Vinette in the U.S. premiere of The Ballad of Klook & Vinette, directed by Ché Walker at Atlanta's Horizon Theatre Company.
Television and film
Inge made her professional acting debut in the 2015 short film I See, You See. Her screen credits include The Hate U Give, Lethal Legacy, A Mess of Memories, and the award-winning short film Eavesdropping on the Elders, in which she played Ida B. Wells.
Her television work includes appearances in Atlanta, The Passage, Dynasty, The Resident, Survivor's Remorse, Love Is _, and The Game. She played Crystal Garrett in the BET series Boomerang, which was executive produced by Lena Waithe and Halle Berry, and played Ashley James in The Ms. Pat Show. She has also appeared in recurring roles on Elsbeth and Reasonable Doubt.
Broadway debut in Home
In 2024, Inge made her Broadway debut in Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of Home, written by Samm-Art Williams and directed by Kenny Leon. The production marked her move onto Broadway after her work across regional theater, television, and film.
In Home, she played Woman One and Pattie Mae Wells. Her stage partners included Tory Kittles as Cephus Miles and Stori Ayers as Woman Two.
