Devora Wilde
Devora Wilde is a Bulgarian-born actress and voice actor, born in Sofia on October 15, 1988. She is known for her screen work in productions including Pandora, Hollyoaks and The Dare, as well as her voice and performance-capture work in video games. Her breakthrough game role was Lae'zel in Baldur's Gate 3.
Education and training
Wilde moved from Bulgaria to England at the age of six. She earned a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Warwick in 2010, followed by a master's degree in Fashion Journalism from the London College of Fashion in 2011.
After completing her degrees, she studied acting at Drama Studio London. Her acting career began with a role in Ron Howard's feature film Rush.
Film and television roles
Wilde's screen credits include Pandora, Hollyoaks, Stolen Life, The Dare and False Witness. She played Jess Jackson in The Dare and appeared as Isabella in Lost & Found in Rome, Violet in Royal Blossom and Bettie Martin in I'm with Me.
In Hollyoaks, she played Georgia, Laurie Shelby's former colleague, from November to December 2018 and again in June 2019. Wilde was also a BAFTA Breakthrough longlist nominee.
Baldur's Gate 3 and video games
Wilde became widely known in video games for voicing and performing as Lae'zel in Larian Studios' Baldur's Gate 3. The role combined voice acting with performance capture and established her as a prominent performer in major game productions.
Her other game credits include Cyberpunk 2077, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Dragon's Dogma II, Battlefield 2042, Total War: Warhammer III, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II, Metaphor: ReFantazio and Silent Hill 2. She and voice actress Cherami Leigh both performed voice work for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.
Wilde voiced Clea in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Angela in Cronos: The New Dawn. She also voiced Galbrena in Wuthering Waves: Dawn Breaks on Dark Tides and has been confirmed to voice Sybille, the Jackdaw, in Duet: Night Abyss.
Dungeons & Dragons
Beyond film, television and games, Wilde is active in the Dungeons & Dragons community. She co-hosts and plays on the actual-play podcast Dungeons, Dragons and Dramas.
She appeared with Jeremy Crawford in a live one-shot session at MCM Comic Con London and with her Baldur's Gate 3 castmates on High Rollers One Shot. She is also set to appear in 21 Sided Tavern, a live interactive show combining comedy, improvisation and audience participation.
