Alinity

Natalia Mogollon was born and raised in Cali, Colombia, where she completed high school before moving to Canada. She has a younger sister named Valentina and a brother. In Canada, she attended the University of Saskatchewan, where she earned a nursing degree and subsequently worked as a nurse for over four years. Before entering nursing, she also worked as a secretary.

Mogollon was previously married to a Canadian man, but the marriage ended in divorce. She has spoken publicly about her mental health challenges, including experiences with depression, bipolar disorder, and an eating disorder, noting that gaming and her online community helped her navigate her recovery.

Mogollon launched her Twitch channel on December 23, 2012, adopting the handle Alinity from her frequent playthroughs of World of Warcraft. In April 2013, she expanded her platform reach by posting video content on YouTube. Over the following years, her live streams expanded to feature games such as Apex Legends, as well as general commentary and interaction with her audience.

In March 2021, she expanded her broadcasts to include cooking content. Alongside her live streaming, she maintains active followings on Instagram and Twitter, where she frequently shares pictures and updates featuring her pets, which include two dogs and two cats named Maya and Milo.

In May 2018, Mogollon became involved in a prominent online dispute with YouTuber PewDiePie after he used derogatory terms to describe female streamers. In response, Mogollon pursued a copyright claim on his video through a third-party rights management company, sparking debate across social platforms regarding copyright procedures and sexism in gaming communities. The two creators eventually resolved the disagreement privately, and both confirmed in 2020 that the conflict had ended.

Mogollon also drew public attention after stream clips showed her tossing her cat Milo behind her chair during a broadcast. Following viewer complaints, the Saskatoon SPCA conducted an investigation into her household and determined that her pets were healthy and well, clearing her of animal mistreatment allegations.
