Hoyt moved from Florida to Austin, Texas, shortly after he was born. Prior to pursuing content creation full-time, he attended Austin Community College and worked brief stints at Sam's Club and the Internal Revenue Service.

He dated fellow streamer Izzy G, known online as Pink Sparkles, from August 2018 until they publicly announced the end of their relationship in December 2019. In late 2021, Hoyt stepped away from his main broadcast schedule to care for his ailing mother, announcing her passing in October 2021 and subsequently shifting his live broadcasts primarily to his secondary channel, zackrawrr.

Hoyt began playing the Warcraft franchise in the late 1990s and became dedicated to World of Warcraft following its 2006 launch. He initially created game guides, lore breakdowns, and humorous commentary for YouTube under the channels VertualExchange, ZackRawrr, and Asmongold before transitioning to live broadcasting on Twitch in 2014.

His viewership grew substantially with the release of World of Warcraft Classic in 2019, establishing his channel as the most-watched World of Warcraft stream on Twitch. He continued to draw large audiences during major game launches, including World of Warcraft: Shadowlands in 2020 and his debut playthrough of Final Fantasy XIV in July 2021. In addition to MMORPG gameplay, his broadcasts increasingly incorporated live reactions to internet culture, industry controversies, and user-submitted forum posts.

In October 2020, Hoyt co-founded the media and streaming collective One True King (OTK) alongside creators including Mizkif, Esfand, Tips Out, and Rich Campbell. The organization produced live events, gaming tournaments, and creator collaborations.

Hoyt expanded his entrepreneurial ventures in August 2022 by partnering with OTK and creator Cr1TiKaL to establish Starforge Systems, a prebuilt gaming PC manufacturer. In February 2023, he co-founded the creator representation agency Mythic Talent alongside Tips Out, acting in an advisory role. Hoyt later stepped away from his leadership duties at Starforge Systems and OTK between late 2024 and February 2025.

Hoyt gradually shifted his broadcast format toward reaction videos and political commentary, addressing cultural issues, industry ethics, and national politics. His outspoken opinions frequently provoked controversy, leading to multiple disciplinary actions from streaming platforms.

In October 2024, his Twitch channel received a 14-day ban following disparaging remarks made about Palestinians during an ongoing conflict, prompting a public apology and a temporary hiatus from broadcasting. His provocative commentary drew further temporary suspensions in 2026, including disciplinary actions over inflammatory remarks regarding immigrants.
