Hamlinz

Hamlinz was raised in Virginia and developed an early background in competitive gaming through titles such as Halo, Call of Duty, and RuneScape. In February 2018, he signed with the esports organization Team SoloMid to become one of the cornerstone members of its competitive Fortnite division alongside Myth, Daequan Loco, and CaMiLLs7. He moved into the TSM house in California, where daily gameplay streams and collaborative videos quickly built a large online audience.

His YouTube channel experienced rapid growth throughout 2018, crossing 100,000 subscribers in May and reaching one million subscribers by December. On Twitch, his livestreams attracted a dedicated following for his high-paced building mechanics and entertaining reactions, eventually surpassing 2.1 million followers. Hamlinz remained with TSM until August 2021 and later became affiliated with NRG Esports.

Throughout 2018, Hamlinz established himself as a prominent tournament contender in the competitive Fortnite scene. He claimed first place in the UMG Friday Fortnite tournament on June 1, 2018, and won the Code Red Fortnite tournament in November of that year. He also competed extensively in Epic Games' official Summer Skirmish and Fall Skirmish series, playing duos alongside teammates including Myth, Melipastel, and Reverse2k.

Beginning in late 2019, Hamlinz stepped away from regular streaming to attend to family matters. In October 2019, he announced a hiatus to mentally reset and spend time with his grandmother following her cancer diagnosis. During that initial break, his Twitter account was compromised by the hacking group Chuckling Squad. After returning briefly, he halted broadcasts again in late December 2019 after the passing of his grandfather, later consulting with HealthyGamerGG to assist with his grief.
