Cailey Fleming

Cailey Presley Fleming was born in Picayune, Mississippi, to Mathew and Misty Fleming. She grew up alongside her brother, Chandler. Acting came early.

She began auditioning professionally at age eight. Her first major screen role came in 2015, playing young Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. That same year, she appeared in the pilot episode of the comedy series One Mississippi.

In 2018, Fleming joined the cast of The Walking Dead during its ninth season. She took over the role of an older Judith Grimes following a narrative time jump. The role grew quickly. AMC promoted her to a series regular ahead of season ten, and she remained on the show through its eleventh and final season in 2022.

She returned to the role in the 2024 spin-off miniseries The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, appearing in the episode "The Last Time".

Outside The Walking Dead, Fleming continued working in television. She played Sorrow across four episodes of Pamela Adlon's FX series Better Things in 2017. She also appeared as Susie in Preacher and starred in the segment "The House of the Head" for the anthology series Creepshow. In 2021, she appeared as Young Sylvie in the fourth episode of Disney+'s Loki.

Fleming balanced television work with supporting film parts throughout the late 2010s. In 2016, she played Young Millie in The Book of Love. She followed with roles in the thrillers Armed Response and Desolation in 2017. A year later, she played Carly North in the action film Peppermint alongside Jennifer Garner, and appeared in Supercon and Hover.

In 2024, she starred in John Krasinski's live-action and animated comedy IF. Fleming played Bea, a girl who discovers she can see everyone's discarded imaginary friends. She led the film alongside Krasinski and Ryan Reynolds.
