Daisy Kelliher
Daisy Kelliher is an Irish reality television personality and yacht chief stewardess known for starring on Bravo's Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Born into a multi-generational sailing family, she served as the chief stewardess across seasons two through five of the series before joining the cast of Below Deck Down Under.
Personal life and family background
Daisy Kelliher was born in Dublin, Ireland, into a family with deep maritime traditions. Her grandfather, Eddie Kelliher, represented Ireland as a competitive sailor at the 1964 Summer Olympics, and her parents, aunts, and uncles have worked across the yachting industry. She spent part of her early childhood in Antigua before relocating to Ireland at age six. She has a sister named Bonnie.
Kelliher resides in London when she is not traveling for charter seasons or television appearances. She has been candid with the public regarding her personal health and family planning, openly discussing her decision to undergo egg freezing. Her dating life on television included relationships with Below Deck Sailing Yacht co-stars Colin MacRae and Keith Allen, the latter concluding after approximately one year due to distance.
Yachting career and Below Deck
Before entering the maritime sector, Kelliher studied hotel management and gained experience in hospitality and client relations. She began working in the yachting industry at age 25, spending eight years as a stewardess on vessels around the world. For three of those years, she served on a private yacht for a single family until the COVID-19 pandemic abruptly halted operations, leaving her temporarily out of work and staying with her parents in Ireland.
Kelliher joined Bravo's reality series Below Deck Sailing Yacht as chief stewardess for its second season. Her leadership style, direct communication, and central role in crew dynamics made her one of the core cast members through seasons two, three, four, and five. She later transitioned within the franchise to serve as chief stew on Below Deck Down Under for its fourth season.
Media ventures and outdoor pursuits
Outside of television production, Kelliher hosts "A Day with Daisy," an educational event designed to provide prospective yacht crew members with foundational training in interior stewarding and guidance on navigating the yachting industry. She has also served as a brand ambassador for Cotz Skincare and collaborated on media projects with director Marc MacNamara.
An enthusiast of adventurous outdoor sports, Kelliher engages in high-intensity travel activities away from the yachting circuit. Her excursions include skydiving, bungee jumping, and a five-day hiking expedition across the Mont Blanc massif.
