Dylan Wolfe

Wolfe became a father in 2021 when his daughter, Addie Mae, was born. Balancing fatherhood with long shifts in the oil fields and late-night performances placed strain on his family life. The pressure eventually led him to leave manual labor to focus on his daughter and his music.

In his hometown, Wolfe served as a volunteer firefighter and first responder. He also spent two to three years coaching youth sports for players aged 10 to 14.

Wolfe discovered he could sing at age 17. He taught himself guitar in his apartment at 19 and began performing at local open-mic nights at 21. For years, music remained a side pursuit. Starting at age 18, he worked for his father's oil field company, putting in 70 to 80 hours a week as a rig operator on a pipe tester.

The routine was demanding. Wolfe worked outdoors in extreme heat, rain, and snow, often leaving straight from work on Fridays to drive hours to gigs. He would play four-hour shows, travel back, and repeat the process on Saturdays. On Sundays, he focused on songwriting, vocal lessons, and online promotion.

Wolfe teamed up with a fellow local musician to form the country and rock duo Wolfe & Nation in early 2021. The group performed across southern Illinois. However, conflicting schedules and family commitments led the pair to split later that year. Wolfe then transitioned into full-time music.

Wolfe released the single 'Wasting My Time', which accumulated millions of streams, followed by tracks such as 'Something To Talk About' and 'The Way I See It'. His catalog also includes songs like 'Here Without You', 'I Thought Wrong', 'Gone With Whiskey', and 'Badge 96-6'.

Wolfe collaborated with the Ryan Waters Band on the single 'Busch Lit' and with JessLee on the track 'Remember That Song'. In 2023, Wolfe signed a publishing deal with Riser House and Lyric Music Publishing. He subsequently released his debut EP, Memory Down.
