Jessica Seinfeld

Jessica Seinfeld was married to theatrical producer Eric Nederlander in 1998, and their marriage ended that year. She met comedian Jerry Seinfeld at the Reebok Sports Club in New York City in August 1998, became engaged in November 1999, and married him on December 25, 1999, in a Jewish ceremony in Greenwich Village.

Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld have three children: daughter Sascha, born in 2000, and sons Julian, born in 2003, and Shepherd, born in 2005. The couple has supported each other's careers and philanthropic work, including Jessica's GOOD+ Foundation events.

After graduating from the University of Vermont, Seinfeld worked in public relations for Golden Books Entertainment and Tommy Hilfiger. She published Deceptively Delicious: Simple Secrets to Get Your Kids Eating Good Food in 2007, offering recipes and techniques for incorporating vegetable purées into familiar dishes for children. The book became a No. 1 New York Times best seller and remained on the list for five months.

Her later cookbooks include Double Delicious! Good, Simple Food for Busy, Complicated Lives (2010), The Can't Cook Book (2013), Food Swings (2017), and Vegan at Times (2021). She adopted a plant-based diet in 2021 and wrote Vegan at Times for people interested in a more flexible approach to vegan cooking.

In 2010, she launched Do it Delicious, a website offering step-by-step cooking instruction, kitchen guidance, recipes, and a forum for beginner cooks.

Seinfeld founded Baby Buggy in 2001 after the birth of her first child. She began by collecting used baby supplies that families no longer needed and directing them to other families in need.

The organization worked with community-based groups, hospitals, and programs serving families affected by domestic violence, poverty, immigration, and other challenges. By 2013, Baby Buggy had donated more than six million items to New York families, and by the time of its 2016 rebranding as the GOOD+ Foundation, it had distributed 20 million items to families across the United States.

GOOD+ Foundation events have included New York fundraising gatherings and family-oriented charity events. Jerry Seinfeld and their children have attended events supporting the organization.

Seinfeld was the creator of The Marriage Ref, a television series that ran from 2010 to 2011. She also served as an associate producer, field producer, and associate field producer on the program.

Her screen credits include producing Daughters and appearing as Danielle Sklar in the film Unfrosted. Her cookbook work and food-focused projects have remained the central themes of her public career.
