Juliana Aidén Martinez

Martinez was born in Miami, Florida, to a Colombian father and a Polish-Jewish mother. She spent the first years of her life in Colombia before moving back to Miami with her parents. Spanish was the only language spoken in her childhood home.

She attended Yale University and graduated from the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University in 2020. Her early screen credits included episodes of The Mysteries of Laura, Prodigal Son, and The Blacklist, as well as the films Tar Pit and Boundary.

In 2024, Martinez played agent June Hawkins in the Netflix miniseries Griselda. The role brought her wider recognition and earned her a nomination for the Imagen Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television.

Her other screen work includes the short films How Not to Date While Trans, They Come from the Sky, Chimera, and Strangers on A Beach. She also appeared as Fernanda in an episode of 9-1-1.

Martinez joined the cast of the NBC police drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for its 26th season. She played Junior Detective Kate Silva, one of the series regular characters.

After one season on Special Victims Unit, Martinez left the series and moved to another Dick Wolf television drama. She also reprised the role of Kate Silva in an episode of Law & Order.

Martinez joined FBI as Special Agent Eva Ramos. The role marked her move from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit to another series in Dick Wolf's television franchise.

Her work as Eva Ramos expanded her television credits with a continuing role in a police and investigative drama, following her appearances in Griselda, The Blacklist, Prodigal Son, and 9-1-1.
