Lana Condor

Condor met actor and musician Anthony De La Torre at an Emmy Awards party in August 2015. The pair began dating shortly after. De La Torre proposed in December 2021 during a vacation in Mexico. In late 2024, they married in a ceremony in Malibu, California. The couple established their primary home in Seattle, Washington.

Philanthropy remains a focus outside her acting schedule. In August 2017, Condor established a scholarship program through The Asia Foundation. The initiative funds four years of schooling for girls in Cần Thơ, covering books, uniforms, food, and bicycles. In 2019, she returned to Vietnam alongside Michelle Obama and Julia Roberts on behalf of the Girls Opportunity Alliance to share stories of local efforts supporting education for girls.

Born in Cần Thơ, Vietnam, under the birth name Trần Đồng Lan, Condor spent her first months in an orphanage. American parents Mary Carol and Bob Condor adopted her and her brother Arthur in October 1997. The family lived in Chicago before settling on Whidbey Island, Washington, and later relocating to New York City.

Dance defined her childhood. Condor began classical ballet lessons at age seven. She trained at institutions including the Joffrey Ballet, the Rock School for Dance Education, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. After moving to Los Angeles for high school, she danced with the Los Angeles Ballet and studied improvisational comedy at The Groundlings.

Her parents encouraged her to take acting classes at the Professional Performing Arts School and the New York Film Academy. While completing her senior year at Notre Dame Academy in Los Angeles, Condor auditioned for feature films. She booked the role of Jubilation Lee, also called Jubilee, in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). That same year, she appeared in Peter Berg's drama Patriots Day.

In 2018, Condor took the lead role of Lara Jean Covey in Netflix's romantic comedy To All the Boys I've Loved Before, based on the young adult novel by Jenny Han. The film found widespread global viewership. Critics praised her performance and comedic timing. Alongside co-star Noah Centineo, she won Best Kiss at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards.

The film launched a franchise. Condor returned as Lara Jean in To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You (2020) and concluded the trilogy in To All the Boys: Always and Forever (2021). She also launched a YouTube channel in February 2020, gaining hundreds of thousands of subscribers within weeks.

In 2019, Condor starred as assassin Saya Kuroki in Syfy's action series Deadly Class. That same year, she played Koyomi in Robert Rodriguez's science-fiction film Alita: Battle Angel. Voice acting followed: she voiced Kaoru in the stop-motion series Rilakkuma and Kaoru and Casey McGarry in BoJack Horseman.

She moved into executive producing with the 2022 Netflix comedy miniseries Boo, Bitch, in which she also starred as high school student Erika Vu. That year, she starred in the sci-fi romantic comedy Moonshot opposite Cole Sprouse. In 2023, she voiced the lead character in DreamWorks Animation's Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken. Her later film roles include the military thriller Valiant One, the ensemble romance Worth the Wait, and the action comedy Coyote vs. Acme.
