Eiza González is a Mexican actress and singer known for starring as Lola Valente in the telenovela Lola...Érase una vez and Darling in Baby Driver. She has also appeared in films including Alita: Battle Angel, Hobbs & Shaw, Godzilla vs. Kong, I Care a Lot and Ambulance, as well as the series From Dusk till Dawn: The Series and 3 Body Problem.

Personal life

González is the daughter of model Glenda Reyna and Carlos González, who died in a motorcycle accident when González was 12. She has a brother named Yulen. González has described her father's death as a major influence on her career.

In 2015, González discussed experiencing depression and compulsive overeating between the ages of 15 and 20 following her father's death. Since April 2025, she has been in a relationship with Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov.

Telenovela breakthrough and music

González studied acting at Mexico City's M&M Studio from 2003 to 2004 and later attended Televisa's Centro de Educación Artística. Producer and director Pedro Damián noticed her while she was studying, and she was cast as Dolores "Lola" Valente in the teen telenovela Lola...Érase una vez. The series premiered in Mexico in 2007 and was later shown across Latin America and the United States. González was 16 when she took the leading role.

She followed the series with an episode of Mujeres asesinas in 2009, playing Gaby alongside Susana González. Her musical career developed alongside her acting. Her debut album, Contracorriente, was released in Mexico in 2009 and reached number 13 on the Mexican albums chart. Her second album, Te Acordarás de Mí, followed in 2012 and included three songs co-written by González.

González played Clara Molina and her alter ego Roxy Pop in Nickelodeon's Sueña conmigo from 2010 to 2011. She lived in Buenos Aires for a year while the series was filmed, and the cast later performed concerts across Argentina. She also starred as Nikki Brizz Balvanera in the telenovela Amores verdaderos from 2012 to 2013.

From Dusk till Dawn and English-language roles

After moving to Los Angeles in 2013, González was cast as Santanico Pandemonium in Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk till Dawn: The Series. The character had been played by Salma Hayek in the original film. The series marked González's first English-speaking role and ran from 2014 to 2016.

González made her cinema debut in the comedy-drama Casi 30, which premiered at Mexican film festivals in 2013 and received a nationwide release in 2014. She later played Sheila "Jetta" Burns in Jem and the Holograms before appearing as Darling in Edgar Wright's Baby Driver in 2017.

Her subsequent film roles included Nyssiana in Alita: Battle Angel, Madame M in Hobbs & Shaw, KT in Bloodshot, Fran in I Care a Lot, Maia Simmons in Godzilla vs. Kong and Cam Thompson in Michael Bay's Ambulance. She also provided the Spanish-language voice of Milagro Navarro-Prescott in Spirit Untamed.

Recent screen work

González appeared in the anthology series Extrapolations and had a role in Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2024. That year, she played Dr. Augustina "Auggie" Salazar in the Netflix science-fiction series 3 Body Problem and Irasema in the miniseries La Máquina.

She also starred as Marjorie Stewart in Guy Ritchie's action film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Her later credits include the science-fiction horror film Ash, in which she played Riya.
