Lucien Cambric

Cambric plays Darnell "D-Mac" McDowell in the Starz crime drama Power Book IV: Force. The role became his most prominent television credit and is the performance most closely associated with his career.

He first appeared as D-Mac in the series in 2022. His credited work on the show spans its early seasons.

Cambric made his first screen appearance as Jemeel in a 2017 episode of Shameless. He later played Miles Vincent and Malik in separate episodes of Chicago P.D., and appeared as Jason Roxboro in The Chi in 2018.

His television credits also include a guest appearance as an employee in the comedy series South Side. His work in these Chicago-set productions established a recurring connection between his career and his hometown's television scene.

Cambric appeared in the 2019 science-fiction thriller Captive State as a teenager. That same year, he played RJ in the film Holiday Heist.

In 2020, he was credited as Liquor Store Customer #1 in The Last Shift. These projects expanded his work beyond episodic television into feature films.

Cambric is also a singer and musician. In 2020, he released the short album The Wood Tape: Feel My Love, a six-track project described as a blend of R&B and soul.

In March 2022, he released the single "Old Day" in collaboration with musician ME11O.
