Kyla Pratt

Kyla Pratt began a relationship with rapper, songwriter, and tattoo artist Danny Kirkpatrick in 2008. They have two daughters, Lyric Kirkpatrick and Liyah Kirkpatrick, born in 2010 and 2013 respectively.

Pratt is the oldest of five children. Her mother, Kecia Pratt, is a schoolteacher, and her father, Johnny McCullar, played basketball.

Pratt won the role of Breanna Latrice Barnes in the UPN sitcom One on One, which ran from 2001 to 2006. She appeared in 113 episodes of the series, which became one of her best-known live-action television roles.

During the same period, Pratt provided the voice of Penny Proud, the lead character in the Disney Channel animated series The Proud Family. She reprised the role in The Proud Family Movie in 2005 and in the revival The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, which began in 2022. Her work on the franchise earned her a 2023 NAACP Image Award.

Pratt played Maya Dolittle in Dr. Dolittle in 1998 and Dr. Dolittle 2 in 2001, both starring Eddie Murphy. She later reprised the role in Dr. Dolittle 3, Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief, and Dr. Dolittle: Million Dollar Mutts, released between 2006 and 2009.

Her other film credits include Love & Basketball, in which she played Young Monica, Fat Albert, The Seat Filler, and Hotel for Dogs. In Hotel for Dogs, she co-starred with Emma Roberts and Jake T. Austin. She also appeared in the 2024 film adaptation The Memo.

As a member of the Disney Channel Circle of Stars, Pratt performed a cover of "Circle of Life" for the DisneyMania 2 album. She also sang "It's All About Me" for The Proud Family soundtrack and performed in the Lifetime Christmas film No Time Like Christmas.

Pratt joined the cast of Let's Stay Together as Crystal Whitmore from 2012 to 2014. She later played Trish Collins in Recovery Road, Randi in Call Me Kat, and Angie in The Chi. Her voice credits also include Allison in Duncanville and several characters in The Addams Family 2.
