Madeleine McGraw

McGraw grew up in a household centered on acting. Her parents, Colin and Jackie McGraw, raised four children who all entered the entertainment industry at an early age. She has an older brother named Jack, a twin brother named Aidan, and a younger sister named Violet.

The siblings frequently shared sets. Madeleine made her feature film debut alongside Aidan in 2014. She voiced Bonnie in Toy Story 4 while Jack voiced young Arlo in Pixar's The Good Dinosaur, and both sisters built careers in horror cinema.

McGraw began print modeling at four years old before booking her first screen roles. She made television guest appearances on Bones and Selfie in 2014. That same year, director Clint Eastwood cast her as McKenna Kyle in the Oscar-nominated biographical war drama American Sniper.

Television casting directors took notice. In 2016, she landed the role of Amber Barnes in Robert Kirkman's supernatural drama Outcast. Initially a recurring character, she was promoted to series regular for its second season. She also played the younger incarnations of Hope van Dyne in Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp and Amara Namani in Pacific Rim Uprising.

Voice acting became a major part of her early career. Pixar cast her as Maddy McGear in Cars 3 in 2017. Two years later, she took over the speaking voice of Bonnie Anderson in Toy Story 4, succeeding Emily Hahn. She later provided the voice for young Katie Mitchell in Sony Pictures Animation's The Mitchells vs. the Machines.

In 2021, McGraw starred opposite Ethan Hawke and Mason Thames in The Black Phone. Her portrayal of Gwen Blake earned critical praise. The performance won her a Fangoria Chainsaw Award for Best Supporting Performance. It also brought a Saturn Award nomination for Best Performance by a Younger Actor.

Horror roles multiplied quickly. She headlined the 2022 film The Curse of Rosalie, originally released as The Harbinger, earning positive reviews for her performance despite mixed reactions to the movie itself. In 2024, she shared the screen with her sister Violet in The Curse of the Necklace.

McGraw returned to the role in 2025 for Black Phone 2. That same year, the Astra Film Awards recognized her as a Star on the Rise, alongside a nomination for Best Young Performer. CinemaCon also honored her as the Rising Star of 2025.

Alongside her genre film roles, McGraw spent three seasons starring in the time-travel mystery series Secrets of Sulphur Springs. Premiering on Disney Channel in 2021, the show featured McGraw as regular character Zoey Campbell across 27 episodes until its conclusion in 2024.

She also returned to Marvel Studios to voice young Hope van Dyne in an episode of the animated Disney+ series What If...?. Branching into filmmaking, McGraw and her sister Violet took on executive producer roles alongside their mother on the holiday action film Double Trouble.
