Santa Fe Klan

Ángel Jair Quezada Jasso grew up in the Santa Fe colonia of Guanajuato City, which inspired his stage name. As a child, he practiced breakdancing and sprayed graffiti on walls around the city. His parents introduced him to music by buying him instruments, and he began recording his own songs at 13. By 14, he had established a personal recording studio.

He began his career in 2013 as part of the Santa Fe Klan group, which dissolved in 2017. He later continued developing his work as a solo artist.

After moving to Guadalajara, Santa Fe Klan joined Alzada Récords, a collective focused on promoting Mexican hip hop. He recorded his first productions with the group and left in 2020. That year, he also collaborated with Awkid and Neto Peña on the song "Gallo de Pelea."

In April 2021, he released "Grandes Ligas" with Snoop Dogg and Lupillo Rivera. In August of the same year, he worked with Calibre 50 and Beto Sierra on "Cuidando el Territorio," which accumulated millions of plays within days. He later collaborated with Steve Aoki and Snow Tha Product on "Ultimate."

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he began playing the Colombian accordion and shifted his focus toward cumbia, a style he had heard from his parents and neighborhood sonideros. His album Santa Cumbia was produced by Toy Selectah and Camilo Lara of the Mexican Institute of Sound. In 2024, he made his Coachella debut and announced the Blanco y Negro tour in the United States. He collaborated with Emmanuel Cortes on a 2025 remix of "Amor."

Santa Fe Klan's early releases include Por Costumbre and Seguimos Radicando, both issued in 2017, as well as the three-volume El Inicio series from the same year. He followed them with Bendecido in 2019 and Necesidad in 2020.

His later albums include Santa Cumbia from 2021, Mundo from 2022, Todo from 2023 and Blanco y Negro from 2024. His music incorporates hip hop, cumbia, cumbia rap, regional Mexican music, reggaeton and Latin trap.

Santa Fe Klan was romantically linked to Maya Nazor. They welcomed a child in August 2022 and later separated.

Santa Fe Klan received the Independent Song Award from the Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico in 2021.

His collaborations have also achieved major certifications in Mexico. "Por Mi México" by Lefty SM, featuring Santa Fe Klan, received a 4× Platinum certification from AMPROFON, while "El Catrín" by Gera MX, also featuring him, received a 3× Platinum certification. Rolling Stone ranked him 31st on its 2024 list of the 50 greatest rappers in the history of Spanish rap.
