Tia Kemp

Kemp built her public identity through online content focused on lifestyle, fashion, beauty, humor, and commentary on celebrity culture. She began posting on YouTube before moving to Instagram in 2018 and TikTok in 2020.

She is the author of the 2009 autobiography Deeper Than Rap: Clarity, Truth, And Exposure, which discusses her personal experiences, relationships, and motherhood. The book helped establish a narrative around her life beyond her connection to the hip-hop industry.

Kemp later expanded into podcasting and digital media. She became a co-host and co-creator of the Aunt-Tea Podcast on the Zeus Network, appearing alongside Tokyo Toni and Karlissa Saffold Harvey to discuss celebrity news, relationships, and trending topics.

Kemp met rapper Rick Ross at a South Beach nightclub in 2003, and the pair dated until 2007. Their relationship brought Kemp early public attention and resulted in the birth of their son, William Roberts III.

Their co-parenting history led to paternity, custody, and child-support proceedings. Kemp filed a paternity case in 2007, and the pair reached a custody and support agreement in 2010. A later child-support dispute was settled in 2018, with the terms of the revised arrangement kept confidential.

Kemp has three sons. She became a mother to her first child at 21 and her second at 22, while her youngest son, William Roberts III, was born in September 2005 from her relationship with Rick Ross.

William graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in October 2023 and subsequently attended Bethune-Cookman University. Kemp has shared aspects of motherhood publicly while keeping details about her first two sons private.
