Tiffany Hudson

Singer#17 most popular

Tiffany Hudson is an American singer-songwriter and worship leader who earned a Grammy Award as a member of Elevation Worship. She co-wrote contemporary worship hits including "Graves Into Gardens" and "Wait On You". In 2023, she released her debut solo album, Hidden Here.

Personal life and upbringing

Hudson was born Tiffany Hammer. She grew up in a Christian home as the daughter of Mike and Connie Hammer, who both serve as pastors at Celebration Community Church in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania. She grew up alongside two sisters, Tori and Maddy. Faith shaped her daily routine from early childhood.

She practiced instruments and led worship at her parents' church during her youth. Later, she studied at Southeastern University while preparing for ministry and developing her songwriting.

She married Maitland Hudson in November 2020.

Elevation Worship and songwriting

Hudson joined Elevation Church as a worship leader and became a core vocalist in the church's music collective, Elevation Worship. She contributed vocals and songwriting across multiple studio and live releases. Among her writing credits are "Graves Into Gardens", "Wait On You", "Never Lost", and "More Than Able".

Her work with the collective brought major industry recognition. The collaborative album Old Church Basement, recorded with Maverick City Music, won a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. The single "Graves Into Gardens" achieved RIAA Gold certification and won Billboard Music Awards and GMA Dove Awards. She also joined national tours, sharing stages on the Elevation Nights tour with pastor Steven Furtick and singer Phil Wickham.

Solo career and Hidden Here

In early 2022, Hudson began writing songs at her piano that felt distinct from corporate church anthems. They were personal prayers and reflections. Elevation Church leadership encouraged her to develop the material into an independent release.

Her debut solo album, Hidden Here, came out in 2023 through Elevation Worship Records. The eight-track record was produced by Josh Holiday, Bubele Booi, and Jason Ingram. It included writing contributions from Amanda Cook. The title track drew lyrical inspiration from Psalm 91.

The project also featured guest artists. Hudson collaborated with Steffany Gretzinger on the track "Break The Bottle", writing the song with Jason Ingram and Josh Holiday. Another song, "Togetherness", featured guest vocals from Mitch Wong and Joe L. Barnes, who had written the track with Hudson in 2020 as a call for unity.

Following the release of Hidden Here, Hudson prepared additional solo music, including the singles "The Wonderful Blood" and "Jesus The Only".
