Wes Ramsey

Wes Ramsey has been in a relationship with actress and former General Hospital co-star Laura Wright since 2017. The two first met while appearing on Guiding Light, where Wright played Cassie.

Ramsey lives in Los Angeles, California.

Ramsey became interested in acting at the age of 12 after taking a three-week summer class at Louisville's Walden Theater. He continued training and performing there for seven years.

In 1996, he entered the drama division of the Juilliard School in New York as a member of Group 29. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2000.

After graduating from Juilliard, Ramsey joined the CBS daytime drama Guiding Light as Sam Spencer. He played the role during the early 2000s and returned for later appearances. He also played Greg on the Fox sitcom Luis in 2003.

Ramsey made his film debut in Latter Days in 2003, playing Christian Markelli alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jacqueline Bisset, and Mary Kay Place. The independent film became one of his best-known screen roles.

Ramsey played the adult Wyatt Halliwell on the supernatural drama Charmed, appearing across seasons six through eight. He later portrayed Owen Kent on Days of Our Lives and Max on the NBC drama The Playboy Club.

He had a recurring role as technician Dave Benton on CSI: Miami and also appeared on Heroes, The Event, House, Grey's Anatomy, The Mentalist, Castle, Stalker, Code Black, and Pretty Little Liars. His other television work included the web series Venice, created by his former co-star Crystal Chappell.

In 2017, Ramsey joined the cast of the ABC soap opera General Hospital as Peter August. The character was later revealed to be Henrik Faison, and the storyline made Ramsey a central figure in the series.

Peter was killed off in 2022. Ramsey's other screen credits include the films Last Seen in Idaho, Perception, and Two Pictures, as well as the television film Deliverance Creek.
