Ainsley Earhardt is an American news anchor and television host known for co-hosting Fox & Friends. She has also worked as a local news anchor, interviewed national political figures, and written children's books and a memoir.
Personal life
Earhardt was married to Kevin McKinney from 2005 to 2009. She married former Clemson University quarterback Will Proctor in 2012, and they divorced in 2019. They have one daughter, Hayden Proctor, who was born in 2015.
Earhardt and Fox News personality Sean Hannity began a relationship in 2019 and announced their engagement on Christmas Day 2024. She is a Christian and has participated in service activities through her church, including helping hungry and homeless people in New York City.
From South Carolina television to national news
Earhardt began her television career at WLTX, a CBS station in Columbia, South Carolina, where she was hired before graduating from the University of South Carolina. She served as the station's morning and noon anchor from 2000 to 2004. During that period, she covered South Carolina middle school students who raised funds for firefighters to replace a fire truck lost at the World Trade Center site after the September 11 attacks.
In 2005, she moved to San Antonio, Texas, and anchored weekday morning and noon newscasts at KENS-TV. She moved to New York City in 2007 after joining Fox News Channel.

At Fox News, Earhardt appeared on Hannity with a segment called “Ainsley Across America.” She also co-hosted Fox & Friends Weekend, Fox & Friends First, America's News Headquarters, and All-American New Year's Eve, and appeared as a panelist on The Live Desk and Red Eye.
Earhardt became a co-host of Fox & Friends in 2016. Her work for Fox News has included interviews with President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, coverage of Pope Francis' American tour, reporting on the Emanuel AME Church killings and the Veterans Affairs hospital investigation, and reporting on the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
She was the first anchor to interview Donald Trump and Melania Trump after Trump's election as president. She has also reported from political conventions and contributed to Fox News' New Year's Eve coverage from Times Square.
Books and charitable work
Earhardt has written the children's books Take Heart, My Child: A Mother's Dream, Through Your Eyes: My Child's Gift to Me, and I'm So Glad You Were Born, as well as the memoir The Light Within Me. Her daughter Hayden inspired Take Heart, My Child, which was co-authored with Katheryn Cristaldi and illustrated by Jaime Kim.
Take Heart, My Child sold out within a week and a half of its release and reached a sixth printing. A portion of the proceeds from that book and Through Your Eyes benefits Folds of Honor, an organization that provides scholarships and assistance to families of fallen or wounded service members.
