Alex Hormozi

Hormozi started his first brick-and-mortar business in 2013 and expanded it to six locations within three years. He then sold the locations and moved into business turnarounds, spending two years helping more than 32 brick-and-mortar businesses apply the operating model he had developed.

He later packaged that process into a licensing model that expanded to more than 4,000 locations over four years. During the same period, he founded and scaled three additional companies across software, services, e-commerce, and brick-and-mortar operations without outside capital. He has scaled and exited seven companies.

In 2020, Hormozi moved from serving as chief executive officer of his companies to an owner and shareholder role. He founded Acquisition.com to invest capital and business knowledge in other companies, with a focus on asset-light, high-cash-flow, sales-oriented service and digital-product businesses.

Hormozi runs Acquisition.com with his wife, Leila Hormozi, who is also an entrepreneur. Their business relationship preceded their marriage, and they co-founded Acquisition.com together.

Hormozi has written $100M Offers, $100M Leads, and Gym Launch Secrets. His writing and public speaking center on business growth, customer acquisition, offers, sales, and monetization.

He shares business and finance-focused material through his self-titled YouTube channel and social media accounts. He also hosts The Game w/Alex Hormozi, a podcast covering business and related topics.

Hormozi graduated from Vanderbilt University magna cum laude in three years with a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development, focused on corporate strategy. After graduating, he worked for two years as a management consultant at a boutique strategy firm before starting his first business.

He supports efforts to expand equal access to education and encourages entrepreneurship in underprivileged communities.
