Amanda Christine

A native of Virginia, Amanda Christine expressed an interest in acting at the age of three. She began her professional career at age four, booking her first commercial for Cabbage Patch Adoptimals.

Her breakthrough came with a national commercial campaign for Yoplait yogurt, in which she starred alongside Brandon Scott and popularized the phrase "Mom's the Boss!" The producers of the 2017 comedy film Mad Families were impressed by the commercial and created a role specifically for her in the movie. During this early period, she also filmed roles in television pilots such as The Wilding and Broken.

Christine built her resume through a series of guest roles on prominent television series. Her early credits include appearances on How to Get Away with Murder, Black-ish, Colony, 9-1-1, and Disney Channel's comedy series Bunk'd, where she played Kaylie Champion. She also made appearances in sketch comedy on A Black Lady Sketch Show and in the television series The Upshaws.

Her feature film work expanded with roles in the horror thriller Stephanie, the prison drama O.G., and the drama Miss Virginia. In addition, she starred as Jessie in the 2020 short film Furthest From.

In 2019, Christine landed her first leading feature film role when she was cast as Ava in the Blumhouse and Amazon Studios psychological horror film Black Box, performing alongside Phylicia Rashad.

She subsequently voiced the lead character in the animated series Ada Twist, Scientist, an Emmy-winning children's television production. She later joined the cast of the horror series IT: Welcome to Derry as Ronnie Grogan, working under director Andy Muschietti in an expansive role that offered significant creative and emotional range.
