
Jackson Robert Scott
Jackson Robert Scott is an American actor known for playing Georgie Denbrough in It and It Chapter Two. He later became known for portraying Bode Locke in the Netflix series Locke & Key.
Early life
Scott was raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and enrolled in his school's Mandarin Immersion Program, where he learned to speak Mandarin Chinese. He also participated in Cub Scouts and played little league baseball.
He trained in the CGTV acting program, where he studied acting techniques and worked with actors from Nickelodeon and Disney as well as Adrian R'Mante, the program's founder. Improvisational Workshop was his favorite class. After CGTV, he began auditioning and self-taping for television roles.
Career
Scott made his first professional acting appearance in 2015 as Cole Vasquez in the television series Criminal Minds. He later played the younger version of Troy Otto in an episode of Fear the Walking Dead.
His breakthrough came with the role of Georgie Denbrough in It (2017), the film adaptation of Stephen King's novel. He returned as Georgie in It Chapter Two (2019) and appeared alongside Jack Grazer. Bill Skarsgård played Pennywise in the films, and Scott said he was not intimidated by Skarsgård during filming.
In 2018, Scott played Troy in Skin, a short film directed by Guy Nattiv that won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. He also took the title role of Miles Blume in the 2019 horror film The Prodigy, his first starring role in a feature film, opposite Taylor Schilling.
Scott was initially cast as Bode Locke in a Hulu pilot of Locke & Key directed by Andrés Muschietti. After Hulu declined to order the pilot as a series, Netflix redeveloped the project and retained Scott as the only actor from the Hulu cast. He played Bode across all three Netflix seasons, which were released from 2020 to 2022, and also portrayed the demonic Dodge while possessing Bode's body in the third season.

His television credits include Criminal Minds, Fear the Walking Dead, and Locke & Key. He also appeared as Billy Reference in four episodes of WandaVision and played Young Greg Laurie in Jesus Revolution.
