Cameron Brink

Brink is the daughter of Greg Brink and Michelle Bain-Brink, who both played college basketball at Virginia Tech. She has an older brother named Cy. Her family maintains close ties to NBA star Stephen Curry and his family. Curry's parents, Dell and Sonya Curry, are her godparents. Sonya was Michelle's college roommate.

Brink met former Stanford varsity rower Ben Felter while both were student-athletes on campus. They began dating in March 2021. On September 30, 2024, Felter proposed on a terrace at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris during Paris Fashion Week.

She has also spoken publicly about mental health and managing anxiety during the COVID-19 pandemic. She received the CalHOPE Courage Award in September 2022, an honor given to California student-athletes who overcome emotional stress and adversity.

Brink lived in Amsterdam for three years starting at age eight while her parents worked for Nike. She initially focused on art and volleyball rather than basketball. A camp run by Dell Curry in Charlotte, North Carolina, sparked her interest in basketball. When her family returned to the United States and settled in Beaverton, Oregon, she committed fully to club and school teams.

She attended Southridge High School for three seasons under coach Mike Bergmann. As a freshman, she contributed to a Class 6A state championship. Southridge repeated the title during her sophomore year with a 28-1 record, and Brink claimed Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year honors. She was a dual-sport athlete. In volleyball, she played middle blocker and helped Southridge win its first state volleyball title.

Brink transferred to Mountainside High School for her senior season. Despite missing time with a high ankle sprain, she averaged 19.7 points and 13.2 rebounds. ESPN ranked her the number three overall prospect in the high school class of 2020. She committed to Stanford over offers from Oregon and UConn.

As a freshman during the 2020-21 season under head coach Tara VanDerveer, Brink posted 88 blocks, a program single-season record. Stanford capped the campaign by winning the national championship game 54-53 over Arizona, securing the program's first NCAA title since 1992.

As a sophomore, she shared Pac-12 Player of the Year honors and helped lead Stanford back to the Final Four. In her junior year, she recorded her first collegiate triple-double against Oregon with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 blocks. Later that season, she passed Jayne Appel to become Stanford's all-time shot blocks leader and received the WBCA Defensive Player of the Year award.

During her senior year, Brink averaged 17.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and a nation-leading 3.7 blocks per game. She won both the Pac-12 Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year awards, alongside the Lisa Leslie Award and the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year honor. She declared for the WNBA draft in March 2024.

The Los Angeles Sparks selected Brink with the second overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft. She stepped straight into the starting lineup. In her regular-season debut, she blocked two shots and grabbed three rebounds in 20 minutes. Her rookie campaign ended early when she suffered a torn ACL during a game against the Connecticut Sun on June 18, 2024.

Brink returned to the court in July 2025 in a matchup against the Las Vegas Aces. Off the court, she became the first female basketball player to sign an endorsement deal with New Balance. In 2025, she launched the podcast Straight to Cam alongside co-host Sydel Curry.

Brink won gold medals with USA Basketball at the 2018 FIBA Under-17 World Cup in Belarus and the 2019 FIBA Under-19 World Cup in Thailand.

She transitioned to the 3x3 format at the senior international level. At the 2023 FIBA 3x3 World Cup in Austria, she led the tournament in rebounds and blocks, winning the gold medal and tournament MVP honors. USA Basketball named her to the 2024 Olympic 3x3 roster, but her knee injury forced Dearica Hamby to take her spot.
