Blue Ivy Carter

Blue Ivy Carter became the youngest person to appear on a Billboard chart after her cries, coos and breathing were included on Jay-Z's song "Glory," released two days after her birth. The recording earned her a Guinness World Record for youngest chart entrant.

She later appeared on Beyoncé's song "Blue" and joined the choir on Coldplay's "Up&Up" from the album A Head Full of Dreams. She also appeared in music videos and visual projects connected to Beyoncé and Jay-Z, including "Formation," "All Night," "Family Feud," "Spirit," "Bigger" and "Black Is King".

In 2019, Blue Ivy contributed vocals and songwriting to "Brown Skin Girl," performed with Beyoncé, Wizkid and Saint Jhn. The song appeared on The Lion King: The Gift and entered the Billboard Hot 100.

"Brown Skin Girl" won the 2021 Grammy Award for Best Music Video, making Blue Ivy the youngest individually credited Grammy Award recipient and the second-youngest Grammy winner overall. The song also brought her a BET Her Award, an NAACP Image Award and a Soul Train Music Award, while its video earned an MTV Video Music Award for Best Cinematography.

Blue Ivy first performed "Brown Skin Girl" with Beyoncé at a private show in Dubai in January 2023. Later that year, she joined the Renaissance World Tour as a dancer, performing with Beyoncé on "My Power" and "Black Parade."

Her planned one-night appearance expanded after she rehearsed further and returned to the stage. She became a full-time dancer on the 2025 Cowboy Carter Tour, performing across 32 shows and taking solo moments during the concerts. She also performed with Beyoncé during the NFL Christmas Day Halftime Show.

Blue Ivy narrated the audiobook edition of Matthew A. Cherry's children's book Hair Love in 2020. Her narration won a Voice Arts Award for Best Voiceover in a children's audiobook.

She made her feature film debut in Mufasa: The Lion King, voicing Princess Kiara. The performance won the 2025 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Character Voice Performance in a Motion Picture.
