Claire Kittle

Claire Kittle has been married to San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle since April 2019. They met as freshmen at the University of Iowa in 2012, became a couple after initially being friends, and got engaged at Twin Lakes State Beach in Santa Cruz in August 2018.

The couple eloped at a family friend's jewelry store in Iowa City in April 2019. George's father, Bruce, officiated, while Claire's brother Riley provided guitar music. They later held a larger vow renewal celebration at their Nashville home in April 2021 after their planned event in Italy was postponed during the pandemic.

In 2023, Claire shared that she had experienced an ectopic pregnancy. She underwent surgery after learning that the pregnancy was not developing in the correct location and credited George and both families with helping them through the experience.

Claire played basketball at Wahlert Catholic High School in Dubuque, where she became the school's third all-time leading scorer and was nominated as a McDonald's All-American. Her high-school career led to a place on the University of Iowa women's basketball team.

She played for the Hawkeyes throughout her four undergraduate years, averaging 1.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. She played as both a guard and a forward while completing a degree in Health and Human Physiology.

A recurring knee injury ended her competitive basketball career during her senior year. Claire later wrote that the injury limited what she could accomplish on the court but also shaped her resilience and approach to setting goals.

After graduating from Iowa, Claire turned her athletic background toward personal training. While living in Iowa City, she ran Claire Till Fitness and taught barre classes. She later established Claire Till Fitness, LLC as a fitness business in Coralville, Iowa.

Claire also competed in a bikini fitness competition in 2018. She trained for 19 weeks and lost 20 pounds for the event, describing the experience as a personal accomplishment even though she did not finish first.

Her fitness work developed alongside a broader lifestyle platform. She founded the blog Lettey Set Go, which covers travel, fashion, beauty, fitness, and everyday life, and she has co-hosted the Hoss Tailgate Tour.

Claire appeared alongside George in Netflix's 2024 docuseries Receiver, which followed NFL pass-catchers during the 2023 season. George initially resisted taking part, but Claire persuaded him by pointing out that the footage would give them something to share with their future children. Her energetic presence became one of the show's notable off-field elements.

She has also built a social-media audience through travel, fitness, fashion, football and lifestyle posts on Instagram. Her public profile includes game-day style features, brand work and the shared Kittle Things venture with George.

Claire and George have appeared together at NFL events and hosted gatherings including KittleFest, a backyard music festival held at their Nashville home in 2023. Their shared interests also include comic books and video games, which have influenced their Halloween costumes and home celebrations.
