Miranda McWhorter

Miranda was married to Chase McWhorter, and they have two children, a son named Brooks and a daughter named Cohen. Following their separation, she has also used Miranda Hope professionally.

Her relationship with Chase became part of the story surrounding her return to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, as the end of their marriage contributed to her decision to step away from MomTok before reconnecting with the group.

Miranda was an early member of MomTok, the influencer collective she helped create with Taylor Frankie Paul. She and Taylor were close friends both online and offline, and Miranda built her audience through dance, lifestyle and comedy content focused in part on motherhood. She began posting on TikTok in March 2020.

Miranda was involved in the controversy that became known as the MomTok swinging scandal. When she returned to the group, she described her own involvement as kissing other people and playing spin-the-bottle, while disputing Taylor's account that members had hooked up with one another. The conflicting accounts became a major part of Miranda's storyline on the show.

Before joining the series, Miranda discussed the possibility of appearing on Hulu's program in a podcast interview. She said she had multiple conversations with Hulu before deciding that participating in the first season did not feel right.

Miranda joined the main cast of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in its second season, making her the first new main cast member to join the series. Her return centered on repairing friendships within MomTok and addressing the fallout from the scandal and her separation from Chase.

During the season, Miranda attempted to rebuild her friendship with Taylor and aligned herself with Whitney Leavitt. She also hosted a happy hour for MomTok and worked to rejoin the group, although some cast members questioned her intentions and her friendship with Demi Engemann. Miranda was eventually allowed back into MomTok after the group discussed her future.

She continued appearing in the third season, including storylines involving Layla Taylor, Demi Engemann, Jessi Ngatikaura and Taylor. Her television credits also include guest appearances on Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood and Dancing with the Stars.

In addition to her television and social-media work, Miranda was an indie book-cover model for Jessica Hawkins' Something in the Way series.

She released a country song titled "FU4THAT" on June 26, 2026.
