Whitney Leavitt
Whitney Leavitt is an American reality television personality and actress known for starring on Hulu's The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and competing on ABC's Dancing with the Stars. A trained dancer, she also made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago and built a large audience through TikTok's MomTok community.
Personal life
Whitney Leavitt has been married to Conner Leavitt since August 19, 2016. They have three children, Sedona, Liam and Billy Gene, and have been based in St. George, Utah.
Leavitt became close to Conner's family while serving a Latter-day Saints mission in Georgia before she officially met him in 2015. The couple later renewed their vows at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas to mark their tenth wedding anniversary.
Dance training and education
Leavitt trained as a competitive dancer during grade school at a studio that competed with the one where professional dancer Witney Carson trained. She studied dance at Brigham Young University and graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
After graduating, Leavitt backpacked across Europe for two months and lived in Uganda for four months. She also worked in a plastic surgeon's office before establishing her TikTok career.
From MomTok to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
Leavitt posted her first TikTok in March 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her comedy, dance and family videos connected her with the Utah-based creator community known as MomTok. She later co-hosted The Monday MaMa podcast with her friend Tara, discussing subjects including beauty and motherhood.
In 2024, Leavitt joined the main cast of Hulu's The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Her confrontational on-screen persona was characterized as the show's villain, helping establish her as a breakout figure in reality television. She announced her departure from the series during her final Chicago performance.
Dancing with the Stars and Broadway roles
Leavitt competed on season 34 of Dancing with the Stars in 2025, partnering with professional dancer Mark Ballas. The pair reached the semifinals and finished in sixth place. Their jazz freestyle to Frank Sinatra's "My Way" drew widespread acclaim, and they later discussed the competition on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast.
Leavitt made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre in 2026. Her six-week engagement was extended by two weeks because of demand. She is also set to make her feature-film acting debut alongside Jesse Kove in the holiday romantic comedy All For Love, which she will executive produce, and announced a return to Broadway as Sandra Dee in Just in Time.
