Grant Horvat

Grant Horvat is the only child of Steve and Nicki Horvat. His father, Steve, was a professional golfer who competed on the PGA Tour of Australasia and is a member of the Central Michigan University Hall of Fame. Steve also served as head golf professional at Grosse Ile Country Club.

Horvat became engaged to Sadee Farinha in August 2022. Accounts date their marriage to either November 2022 or January 2024.

Horvat played basketball while growing up in Michigan before switching to golf at age 12. His family moved to Pennsylvania during his freshman year of high school and then to Stuart, Florida, in 2014 so he could practice golf year-round.

At South Fork High School, Horvat competed on the South Florida PGA Junior Tour and Florida Junior Tour. He earned First-Team All-Area honors in 2015 and 2016, helping him pursue a college golf scholarship.

Horvat played for the Sailfish at Palm Beach Atlantic University from 2017 to 2021 while majoring in marine biology. He appeared on the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll four times and was named a GCAA All-American Scholar. During his senior season, he tied for seventh at the SSC Tournament, matching the best finish in the school's history.

Horvat began creating golf content in 2021 while working at Frenchman's Reserve Country Club in South Florida. He became a member of Good Good, a golf-focused YouTube collective that combined competitive matches with entertainment, and gained a larger audience through the group.

He left Good Good in 2022 to pursue his own brand and channel. Grant Horvat Golf developed around long-form golf challenges, course features, technical instruction and collaborations with other creators and professional players. His collaborations have included Garrett Clark, Rick Shiels and the Bryan Bros, while videos have also featured players such as Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy.

Horvat signed with TaylorMade in 2023. He also developed his own clothing brand, Primo, as part of his broader golf business.

Horvat won the second Creator Classic at TPC Sawgrass in March 2025, defeating George Bryan and Chris Solomon in a playoff. In the playoff, he made a 15-foot birdie putt on the par-3 17th to secure the title.

The victory led to a sponsorship invitation from the PGA Tour. Horvat declined the opportunity because he wanted to continue filming for his YouTube channel and considered the skill gap between himself and professional tour players significant. He later declined another invitation to the Reno-Tahoe Open after his camera crew was not permitted to film his rounds because of media-rights restrictions.

In 2025, Horvat became a partial owner of Takomo Golf. He has also competed in creator-focused events including The Q at Myrtle Beach and the Internet Invitational, and he helped organize The Duels: Miami tournament with LIV Golf.
