Joshua Kiszka, also known as Josh Kiszka, is an American singer and songwriter born in Frankenmuth, Michigan. He is best known as the frontman of the hard rock band Greta Van Fleet, whose breakout single "Highway Tune" brought the group widespread attention.
Greta Van Fleet
Kiszka grew up in Frankenmuth, Michigan, and developed a strong interest in classic rock. That influence became central to Greta Van Fleet's sound, with Kiszka's vocal style often compared to Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant.
His brothers Jake Kiszka and Sam Kiszka are also founding members of Greta Van Fleet. Kiszka and Jake are twins, and the brothers' collaboration forms part of the band's core lineup.
Highway Tune
Greta Van Fleet gained early attention with "Highway Tune," which was featured on the Showtime series Shameless before its official release as a single. The band followed the song's success with its debut EP, Black Smoke Rising, released in March 2017.
Kiszka also received recognition as a songwriter. Billboard lists him at No. 1 on its Hard Rock Songwriters chart, with a chart debut in May 2021 and 23 weeks on the chart.

In June 2023, Kiszka came out as gay and said that he had been in a same-sex relationship for some time. He framed the announcement as an important decision to speak openly about his identity.
