Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian was married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004, to basketball player Kris Humphries from 2011 to 2013, and to rapper Kanye West from 2014 to 2022. Her 2011 marriage to Humphries ended after 72 days, while her marriage to West ended after the couple agreed to joint custody of their children.

Kardashian has four children with West: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. North was born in 2013 and Saint in 2015. Chicago and Psalm were born in 2018 and 2019 through surrogacy after Kardashian experienced pre-eclampsia and placenta accreta during her first two pregnancies.

Kardashian is a Christian and was educated in Presbyterian and Roman Catholic schools. She was baptized in the Armenian Apostolic Church in 2019 and received the Armenian name Heghine.

Kardashian first attracted public attention as a stylist and friend of Paris Hilton, appearing in episodes of The Simple Life. In 2007, she began appearing with her family on E!'s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which followed the daily lives of the Kardashian-Jenner family and became a ratings success.

The series ran until 2021 and produced spin-offs including Kourtney and Kim Take Miami and Kourtney and Kim Take New York. Kardashian also appeared in the two-part wedding special Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, which drew 10.5 million viewers and became E!'s most-watched event at the time.

In 2022, Kardashian and her family moved to Hulu with The Kardashians. She has also produced reality programs including The Spin Crowd, Glam Masters, and You Kiddin' Me.

Kardashian began her fashion career as a stylist and worked on wardrobe, closets, infomercials, music videos, and photo shoots. In 2006, she opened the DASH boutique in Calabasas with her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian. The business later expanded to Miami and New York before closing in 2018.

She launched KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance in 2017. In 2019, she co-founded the shapewear company Skims with Jens Grede and Emma Grede after renaming the brand from Kimono. Skims later expanded into loungewear, swimwear, activewear, menswear, and unisex clothing, and entered partnerships with Team USA, the NBA, the WNBA, and USA Basketball.

Kardashian's other projects include the mobile game Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, the emoji app Kimoji, the photo book Selfish, and the books Kardashian Konfidential and Dollhouse. Her 2014 Paper magazine cover popularized the phrase "break the internet," and the magazine's website recorded 15.9 million views in one day after its release.

Kardashian made her feature-film debut as Lisa in Disaster Movie in 2008. Her later screen credits include Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, Ocean's 8, the animated films PAW Patrol: The Movie and PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, and the television series American Horror Story: Delicate, in which she played Siobhan Corbyn. She also hosted Saturday Night Live in 2021.

In 2020, Kardashian starred in and executive produced the documentary Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project, which focused on criminal justice reform and mass incarceration. She advocated for clemency for Alice Marie Johnson, whose sentence was commuted by President Donald Trump in 2018, and worked with Van Jones and Jared Kushner in support of the First Step Act.

Kardashian also supported the 90 Days to Freedom campaign, which helped secure the release of 17 people serving life sentences for nonviolent drug offenses. She later advocated for Melissa Lucio, Gunna, Toforest Johnson, and the Menendez brothers in separate criminal justice cases. She completed a four-year law apprenticeship in 2025 and failed her first California Bar Exam attempt.
